For 2016, the top end KTM Revelator frames have evolved. The previous model won many events around the world and continues to recieve rave reviews in the press, however KTM did not want to rest, and continue to strive to be ahead of the peleton.
The 2016 KTM Revelator Prestige and Prime models feature this newly designed frameset. The new frame features a new mold that offers increased aero dynamics, and an integrated seat clamp. This integrated clamp keeps the frame weight low, as the seattube is shorter it also allows for a longer seat post to be used, which means shocks are absorbed more efficiently, and power can be delivered more effectively, through the compact rigid frame triangle. The new revelator is a clear visual and technical statement.
The frame design also utilises an under chainstay direct mount brake. This means the seatstays can be designed in one long piece to provide optimal power and comfort with no need to consider the issue of a brake mount. The brake itself is then mounted to the underside of the bb which is already the stiffest part of the frame, so the braking performance is improved at the same time as increasing the aerodynamic efficiency and clean lines of the frame design.
